Pearland opens 2012 football season at Madison

Pearland begins its 2012 football season Friday, Aug. 31 at Madison.

The Oilers then travel to Fort Bend Kempner on Friday, Sept. 7 before their first home game Friday, Sept. 14 against Memorial. They are back on the road at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28 vs. Pasadena, and again at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 at Sam Rayburn to conclude the season's first half.

The second half opens with a 7 p.m. home meeting Friday, Oct. 12 against Alvin, and another 7 p.m. start Friday, Oct. 19 versus South Houston, followed by three straight road games to finish the season. Pearland will travel Friday, Oct. 26 to Pasadena Memorial, Friday, Nov. 2 to Manvel, and Thursday, Nov. 8 to Dobie to finish the season. The three road contests all kick off at 7 p.m.
