Pearland ISD releases third-grade school supply list

The Pearland Independent School District has released the school supply list for third grade.

Students should bring 36 No. 2 standard wood pencils; a multi-colored, 7-inch, 12-count pack of colored pencils; two pink latex-free, bevel erasers; six red medium ballpoint pens; two 24-count packs of Crayola or equivalent crayons; one pack of classic color washable markers; two black chisel-tip Expo or equivalent dry erase markers; one 10.5-inch by 5.5-inch canvas pencil bag with grommets; one pair of 5-inch pointed Fiskars or equivalent scissors; and one 12-inch plastic ruler with standard and metric measurements. The ruler should have 1/16-inch increments.

Additionally, students will need to bring two four-ounce bottles of Elmer's or equivalent washable glue; one black fine-point Sharpie or equivalent permanent marker; one pack of four 3-inch by 3-inch Post-It note pads; a 100-count pack of 3-inch by 5-inch index cards; a 50-count pack of 12-inch by 18-inch bright white construction paper; a 50-count pack of 9-inch by 12-inch assorted construction paper; two 200-count packs of wide-rule notebook paper; a 100-page-count black marble Composition book; and two 100-count boxes of Kleenex or equivalent facial tissues.

Students will also need four 70-count, wide-rule spiral notebooks in the following colors: red, green, yellow and blue; four paper pocket folders with brads in the same colors; and three plastic pocket folders with brads in green, yellow and red.
