Pearland first grade school supply list

The Pearland Independent School District released its school supply list for first grade.

Students should bring: 36 standard No. 2 wood pencils, two large pink beveled erasers, three 24-count packs of crayons, one 8.5-by-5.5-by-2.5-inch plastic supply box, one eight-count pack of classic color washable markers, three black chisel tip dry erase markers, one 5-inch pair of blunt scissors, three 4-ounce white glue bottles, two large and two small white glue sticks; one 50-count pack of 9-by-12-inch manila paper and one 20-count pack of 12-by-18-inch manila paper.

Students also need: one 9-by-12-inch 50-count pack of assorted construction paper, one 12-by-18-inch 50-count pack of assorted construction paper, four 0.5-inch ruled composition notebooks with a red baseline and a dotted mid-line, two 0.5-inch ruled writing tablets with a red baseline and a dotted mid-line, three 0.5-inch ruled story tablets with a red baseline and a dotted mid-line, one 100-count pack of 3-by-5-inch ruled index cards, four folders in colors orange, yellow, green and red with pockets and brads, one blue plastic folder without brads, 12 resealable gallon freezer bags, one 100-count box of facial tissues and one 100-count pack of 4-by-6-inch index cards.
