Independence Park Pool offers open swim times and lessons
Independence Park Pool, located at 3919 Liberty Drive, is offering open swimming and lessons this summer through Aug. 21.
Swimmers age 7 and older pay $2 for admission, and swimmers age 6 and younger are admitted for free. Group reservations of 10 or more are required; the pool is also open to private parties.
American Red Cross water safety instructors teach the lessons, which are offered Tuesday through Friday at 5 p.m. Certification for CPR and lifeguard training through American Red Cross are also available.
