Alvin ISD elects new board members
Tiffany Wennerstrom was elected as president of the Alvin Independent School District Board of Trustees at a board meeting held May 23.
Eddie Martinez was elected vice president, and Charles McCauley was elected secretary.
Other newly elected board members include Cheryl Harris in position 3, Mike Lansford in position 1 and Regan Metoyer in position 2.
Harris is replacing Mark Patterson, Lansford is replacing Pete Vincent, and Metoyer is replacing Earl Humbird.
