Home Depot, Pearland man blamed for workplace accident

A Home Depot in Katy and one of its store manager’s from Pearland is being sued over claims the store failed to provide workers with a safe environment.

Ramona Coste filed a lawsuit on Jan. 25 in Harris County District Court against Home Depot and Pearland resident Wesley Stilwell, citing negligence.

Coste says on Oct. 4, 2010, she suffered injuries to her neck and back when a large and heavy box landed on her while on the job at the Katy-area Home Depot. According to the brief, Stilwell managed the store where Coste was injured.

Coste is seeking damages and attorney’s fees. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney John Grazier.
