St. Helen Catholic School celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month

St. Helen Catholic School celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month on Oct. 12.
The program featured a flag presentation with Latina music playing, and guest speakers discussed how they became successful in their professions, while overcoming obstacles and being Hispanic.
The speakers included Texas Senator Mario Gallegos of District 6, Oscar Rivas, a Houston firefighter, and Dr. Roberto Sandoval-Diaz.
