HS Football: Manvel defeats Galveston Ball
Manvel defeated Galveston Ball 55-0 in District 24-4A high school football action on Friday.
The win ups the Mavericks to 9-0 on the season and 5-0 in district play.
Selwyn Green rushed for 57 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.
Manvel will next visit Dawson on Friday at 7 p.m.
The Tornadoes fell to 0-9 on the season and 0-5 in district play.
Dorien Dorise rushed for 59 yards in the loss.
Galveston Ball will next host Santa Fe on Friday at 7 p.m.
