HS Volleyball Preview: Dawson vs. Texas City

Dawson visits the courts of Texas City in District 24-4A girls high school volleyball action on Friday.

The Eagles are 16-9 on the season and 8-3 in district play, winning 3-1 over Ridge Point in their last match.

Katey Kyle leads the team with an average of 3.08 kills per game.

After Friday's contest, Dawson will host Galveston Ball on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

The Stingarees are 5-12 on the season and 3-7 in district play, taking all three games from Galveston Ball in their last match.

Cymone Toole leads the team with an average of 3.04 kills per game.

Following Friday's game, Texas City will visit La Marque on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Friday's first serve begins at 5:30 p.m.
