Pearland man charged in Sugar Land burglaries
Sugar Land police arrested a man early Monday morning as they investigated a break-in at Sugar Land Medical Associates, 14815 Southwest Freeway.
An alarm at the business went off at about 2:50 a.m. due to broken glass, City of Sugar Land spokesperson Doug Adolph said. Officers arriving at the business saw a man walking in the parking lot and found a hammer nearby.
Officers searched the man's car and found what they say were items taken in a car burglary in the 300 block of Lake Glen Court, Adolph said.
Robert Davis, 34, of Pearland, is charged with burglary, credit card abuse and possession of a criminal instrument.
Davis may face additional charges after police investigate other burglaries recently reported in Sugar Land.
"We're investigating whether it was related to the other burglaries," Adolph said.
