HS girls basketball preview: Pearland vs. Brazoswood

Pearland will battle Brazoswood in girls basketball action on Friday.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Pearland.

Pearland has a 16-7 record on the season and is 3-3 in district play. On Tuesday, the Oilers lost to Clear Creek, 44-64, as Taylor Haynes scored 10 points.

Brazoswood is 5-7 on the year and 0-4 in district. On Tuesday, the Buccaneers lost to Clear Brook, 53-70, as Trisha Ambree scored 25 points.

After Friday’s game, Pearland plays Clear Brook on Tuesday.

Brazoswood next plays Alvin, also on Tuesday.
